ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਿਖਾਇਓ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
Sadhhoo Sang Sikhaeiou Nam ||
साधू संगि सिखाइओ नामु ॥
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the Naam is learned;
ਸਰਬ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮ ॥
Sarab Manorathh Pooran Kam ||
सरब मनोरथ पूरन काम ॥
All desires and tasks are fulfilled.
ਬੁਝਿ ਗਈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਸਹਿ ਅਘਾਨੇ ॥
Bujh Gee Thrisana Har Jasehi Aghanae ||
बुझि गई त्रिसना हरि जसहि अघाने ॥
My thirst has been quenched, and I am satiated with the Lord's Praise.
ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਸਾਰਿਗਪਾਨੇ ॥੧॥
Jap Jap Jeeva Sarigapanae ||1||
जपि जपि जीवा सारिगपाने ॥१॥
I live by chanting and meditating upon the Lord, the Sustainer of the earth. ||1||
ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਸਰਨਿ ਪਰਿਆ ॥
Karan Karavan Saran Paria ||
करन करावन सरनि परिआ ॥
I have entered the Sanctuary of the Creator, the Cause of all causes.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਸਹਜ ਘਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ਚੰਦੁ ਚੜਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

गुर परसादि सहज घरु पाइआ मिटिआ अंधेरा चंदु चड़िआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
By Guru's Grace, I have entered the home of celestial bliss. Darkness is dispelled, and the moon of wisdom has risen. ||1||Pause||
ਲਾਲ ਜਵੇਹਰ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥
Lal Javaehar Bharae Bhanddar ||
लाल जवेहर भरे भंडार ॥
My treasure-house is overflowing with rubies and jewels;
ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ॥
Thott N Avai Jap Nirankar ||
तोटि न आवै जपि निरंकार ॥
I meditate on the Formless Lord, and so they never run short.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਬਦੁ ਪੀਵੈ ਜਨੁ ਕੋਇ ॥
Anmrith Sabadh Peevai Jan Koe ||
अंम्रित सबदु पीवै जनु कोइ ॥
How rare is that humble being, who drinks in the Ambrosial Nectar of the Word of the Shabad.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਪਰਮ ਗਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥੪੧॥੯੨॥
Naanak Tha Kee Param Gath Hoe ||2||41||92||
नानक ता की परम गति होइ ॥२॥४१॥९२॥
O Nanak, he attains the state of highest dignity. ||2||41||92||
